Owner & Managing Attorney

Sarah is a Legacy and Estate Planning Attorney and Colorado native, specializing in wills, trusts, and philanthropy. She graduated from University of Colorado with a law degree focused on estate planning, tax law, and tax-exempt entities. In addition to Sarah’s legal practice, she has implemented fund development and outreach campaigns for a variety of organizations. She has worked with individuals, families, and organizations for over a decade. Her experience ranges from fundraising, entity formation, disposition, governance, planned giving and the related tax consequences, to estate planning, federal gift and estate tax planning, and trust and estate administration.

Sarah’s goal is to design an experience for her clients that is truly approachable and unique. She is passionate about enabling individuals to express love through action, using estate planning, philanthropy, and other resources. Collaborating with her clients, Sarah conceptualizes practical solutions to plan for life transitions and family dynamics. She has a deep appreciation for family and community, in all shapes and forms, and the legacies we leave behind. Her work with organizational governance and best practices is rooted in this same drive to build legacies. She believes in transparent billing and offers flat-fees and unbundled services to meet urgent needs and keep costs low. She is flexible and accessible, adapting quickly to utilize technology as the world evolves. Her primary goal is to support and accommodate her clients’ busy, ever-changing lives.

Sarah was born and raised in Colorado. She lives in Park Hill with her wife Kelly, their baby daughter Asher and labradoodle Frankie. Sarah is a mother, a wife, a daughter, sister, and granddaughter. Family means the world to her, so she understands the last thing anyone wants to think about is possible harm or facing unexpected challenges. Sarah is reassured knowing that her family has a plan and feels fortunate to advise her clients about protecting their loved ones too. She spends as much time as possible with her friends and family; hiking, skiing, exploring parks, music venues, restaurants and museums, while doing all that she can to appreciate our beautiful state. Sarah is active as a member, volunteer, and advisor for various community-building organizations working on behalf of future generations.
